My husband, also a filmmaker and photographer, was learning to fly a drone to incorporate aerial footage as an important element in our films. We loved combining a 50,000-foot sky-high view of the story with footage of up-close and intricate details. And we found this added a special layer of
depth to the story.
From there, Sky Story Films was born.
As I began filming weddings, I continued to pursue depth and dynamic storytelling in my approach. By capturing unique and candid angles along with beautiful and personal details. And because of this, you'll find I am very intentional in the way that I capture and preserve your day.

Growing up as the daughter of a florist, I experienced the joy and excitement of a wedding day every weekend. Between that and my experience serving over 40 couples, I intuitively know how to anticipate and capture the moments you'll want to relive forever.
And, I don't only capture the milestone ones you would expect. But also, the little in-between ones you don't know you'll need—until you see them. Like a fly on the wall, I pay close attention, know how to read the room and capture the candid and unseen moments that will paint the complete picture of your day through your film.

My family and I have lived in 17 different places in 15 years, including Tanzania, where we ran our mission-based non-profit. While the places have changed, one thing has always remained the same - the way we treat people.
So no matter the setting, you can always expect respect, kindness, professionalism, and empathy from me. And because I've lived in so many places and learned many cultures and languages, I know how to blend in naturally, how to provide communicate clearly, and how to adapt to accommodate your needs in any scenario.

My husband and I are blessed with two energetic and fun-loving daughters we love to adventure with around the world. They are one of the reasons why I love meeting your loved ones and capturing the special connection you have with one another.
The first look between the two of you lights me up. I love seeing you have an intimate moment where you can fully focus on one another, away from all the excitement of the celebration.
My top two films are Pride and Prejudice by Joe Wright and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty by Ben Stiller because of the great characters, cinematic shots, adventurous and romantic storylines, and incredible soundtracks. Those are the things that make the best films. And those are the elements I infuse into your film.
Fueled by my passion for international travel, you'll find me sipping wine next to the Seine River, relaxing by a beach, or giving clean water to villages in need in Tanzania with my family. And I'll happily go anywhere you choose to celebrate your love.
There's nothing like experiencing the aesthetics and beautiful designs that you have selected for your wedding day. It allows me to get an even better sense of you as a couple and infuse that dynamic into your film.
